Do I have to go through security again on a connection at OTP?

Can I check the security wait time at OTP?
LYVR doesn't have security wait times for OTP yet. It still times your walk between gates and through the terminal, so you can see how much of the layover is really free.

How much time do I need for a layover at OTP?
It depends on your terminals, whether you go through security or customs again, and how far apart the gates are. LYVR adds up deplaning, every walk through the terminal, any checkpoints your connection passes and the boarding door time, then shows exactly how much time you have to spare.
Is a 1 hour layover enough at OTP?
Between two flights inside the Schengen area (most of Europe), often yes, since there's no passport check. Coming from or going to a country outside it, you go through passport control (and visitors from outside the EU register in Europe's new Entry/Exit System the first time), which can take 30 minutes or more at busy times, so 1.5 to 2 hours is safer. LYVR works out your exact time to spare for your own two gates.
What is there to do on a layover at OTP?
With an hour or two, eat near your gate and walk the terminal. LYVR's Explore tab lists every restaurant, bar and shop near your gate with the walk time, so you only see what fits in your layover.
Can I leave the airport on a layover at OTP?
Arriving from another Schengen country (most of Europe), yes, with enough time. From outside it, only if you're allowed to enter the Schengen area, since leaving OTP means going through passport control, and you'd want about 6 hours: the passport line both ways, the trip into Bucharest and back, and security on the way in. LYVR checks the ride each way, the time you'd have in the city and your passport's entry rule.
