About LYVR
What is LYVR?
LYVR is a layover planner. Save your flights and it finds the layover, times every walk on the airport's indoor map, shows the checkpoints your connection passes through, and suggests food, lounges and things to do that fit the time you have.
Is LYVR free?
Yes. LYVR is free to use in any browser, on your phone or your computer.
Which airports does LYVR work at?
Any airport worldwide. We've also written detailed layover guides for 113 of the busiest airports.
Do I need to install anything?
No. Open launch.lyvrapp.com in your browser. Nothing to download.
Planning a layover
Do I need an account?
You can explore airports and search places without one. To save flights and layovers, sign in with Google so they're there on every device.
How does LYVR find my layover?
Add your flights by flight number or route. When one flight lands at the same airport another one leaves from within 48 hours, LYVR pairs them into a layover and builds the plan.
Can LYVR plan my layover for me?
Yes. Open a layover and tap Ask AI, then answer three quick questions: who's traveling, what sounds good, and a final check. It suggests stops that fit your time to spare, in the order you'll pass them on the way to your gate, and you can add, swap or dismiss each one. You can also just ask it things, like where to get a quick bite or whether you can leave the airport.
How does Ask AI choose what to suggest?
It only picks from real places in your departure terminal: LYVR Top Picks, places you've saved, and restaurants, lounges and shops from the airport's listings, plus things like pet relief or play areas when your group needs them. LYVR, not the AI, works out the timing, so every stop fits your time to spare and stays close to your walk to the gate. It's still worth checking opening hours before you go.
Can Ask AI plan my time before a flight?
Yes. Open the plan for your flight from Home, or tap Ask AI on its card, and answer the same three questions plus how long you'd like before boarding, from 30 minutes to 2 hours. Ask AI suggests real places past security that fit that time, in the order you'll pass them, and LYVR works out when to get to the airport, counting security and the walk to your gate.
What does “time to spare” mean?
It's what's left of your layover after deplaning, walking to your next gate, any security, passport or customs checks, and getting to the gate before the boarding door closes. That's the time you can actually spend.
How accurate are the walk times?
LYVR routes the walk on the airport's indoor map, around walls and across floors, so it's the real path, not a straight line. Where terminals don't connect on foot it switches to the train or shuttle. If you'd rather use elevators than escalators, turn on Prefer Elevators in your profile.
Will LYVR tell me if I have to go through security or customs again?
Yes. Each layover lists the checkpoints your connection passes, like passport control, baggage claim, customs, bag recheck and security, in order, and counts them in your time to spare.
Wait times and lounges
Where do the security and customs wait times come from?
From the airports' own live feeds where they publish one, plus live sources like CBP for US customs and EU Entry/Exit System queues. Where there's no live data, some US airports show the usual wait for that hour from TSA, clearly marked as not live.
Can LYVR tell me which lounges I can get into?
Yes. Add your credit cards, lounge memberships like Priority Pass and airline status to your profile, and LYVR checks each lounge against them. For some lounges it also shows the current waitlist.
Account and privacy
What does LYVR do with my data?
We keep your saved flights, layovers and profile so the app works, and we don't sell them. The privacy policy has the details.
I found a bug or have an idea. How do I reach you?
We'd love to hear it. Send us a note on the contact page and it goes straight to the team.
